These Terms govern your use of altoleap.com and our client project portal (hosted on GitLab). Our professional services (e.g., the AI Opportunity Blueprint and implementation work) are governed by separate written agreements (proposals, statements of work, and master services agreements). If those agreements conflict with these Terms for the services they cover, those agreements control.
1. Acceptance
By using our website or client portal, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use them.
2. The client portal (GitLab)
- Access to the portal is provided to clients to raise issues and feature requests and to manage active projects.
- You're responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account; keep them confidential and notify us of any unauthorized use.
- Access is granted for the duration of your engagement and may be suspended or terminated when the engagement ends or for misuse.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the site or portal unlawfully; upload malicious code; attempt unauthorized access; infringe others' rights; or post content you don't have the right to share.
4. Your content
- You retain ownership of the content you submit to the portal (issues, feature requests, files, project information). You grant AltoLeap a limited license to use it solely to provide and support your project.
- We treat your project content as confidential in accordance with our agreement with you.
5. Our intellectual property
The website, its content, our methods and frameworks (including the LEAP method), and our trademarks are owned by AltoLeap. Ownership of software we build for you is addressed in your project agreement, not here.
6. The AI Opportunity Blueprint & payments
- The AI Opportunity Blueprint is a paid engagement (currently $2,000), processed via Stripe. Specific terms — including any credit toward Phase 1 and any money-back guarantee — are set out at the point of purchase and/or in your engagement documents, which govern.
- Implementation pricing and scope are defined in your separate agreement.
7. Third-party services & links
Our site and portal rely on third-party services (see the Privacy Policy) and may link to third-party sites; we're not responsible for their content or practices.
8. Disclaimers
The website and portal are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. Warranties for delivered software — including the 90-Day Workmanship Warranty — are addressed in your project agreement, not here.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AltoLeap is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or portal.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify AltoLeap against claims arising from your misuse of the site or portal or violation of these Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
12. Changes & termination
We may update these Terms (new effective date posted) and may suspend or terminate site or portal access for breach or at the end of an engagement.
